BTS Compliant for the Fifth Year in a Row: The 2025 GLF Code of Conduct Raises the Standard for Trust

How the new GLF framework is reshaping integrity across global telecoms
BTS has successfully renewed its compliance with the Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF) Code of Conduct for the fifth consecutive year, earning an “Excellent” ranking under the new 2025 attestation framework.
This recognition highlights BTS’s continued alignment with the GLF’s mission to enhance trust and transparency in international telecommunications, a framework that has evolved significantly since its inception.
Setting the Standard for Integrity in Global Communications
The Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF) Code of Conduct continues to evolve as the telecom industry’s primary framework for strengthening trust, transparency, and fraud prevention across international networks.
In 2025, the GLF introduced a restructured attestation process that redefines how carriers demonstrate compliance.
For the fifth consecutive year, BTS has been confirmed as compliant with the Code, earning an “Excellent” rankingunder this new model, a recognition that underscores alignment with the highest standards of governance and operational integrity.
A New Era for Verification and Accountability
The latest version of the GLF Code of Conduct introduces a tiered attestation model, offering three levels of compliance: Basic, Advanced, and Excellent.
This scalable approach broadens participation while distinguishing those operators that meet the most rigorous, peer-validated requirements.
In parallel, the 2025 process emphasizes evidence-based verification and peer review, replacing self-declaration with transparent evaluation.
This shift strengthens the credibility of the Code and establishes compliance as a measurable business advantage in partner selection and risk assessment.
Expanding Scope: Principle 7 and Industry Integration
A new seventh principle has also been added to address International Revenue Share Fraud (IRSF), one of the most persistent threats in global telecom.
It mandates greater transparency in routing, opt-out mechanisms for customers, and accountability across intermediaries.
The Code now forms part of the GLF’s wider Trust program, connecting with initiatives like the Messaging Code of Conduct and KYC/KYT guidelines.
Together, these frameworks extend integrity principles beyond voice to messaging and digital communications.
