‘Excellent’ at GLF Code of Conduct 2026

SHARE

Six consecutive years of compliance, a 93% adherence score and another ‘Excellent’ recognition reflect BTS’s continued commitment to trust, accountability and fraud prevention in global telecommunications.

For mor than five years, BTS has successfully demonstrated its adherence to the Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF) Code of Conduct, receiving an ‘Excellent’ attestation in 2026.

The recognition follows a comprehensive assessment that included a 93% Code of Conduct adherence score, supporting evidence of operational compliance and a successful peer review.

For us, this result represents more than another year of meeting industry standards. It reflects the ongoing work of our teams to maintain responsible business practices, strengthen fraud prevention and contribute to a more trustworthy global telecommunications ecosystem.

A Common Standard for a More Trustworthy Industry

The GLF Code of Conduct provides a shared framework for promoting transparency, accountability and responsible behaviour among international telecommunications operators.

As global communications become increasingly interconnected, maintaining trust across networks and commercial relationships remains essential. Fraudulent traffic, misuse of telecommunications services and evolving security threats require operators to take an active role in protecting the integrity of the ecosystem.

The Code of Conduct addresses these challenges through common principles and an assessment process designed to demonstrate how operators translate their commitments into everyday business practices.

In recent years, the framework has continued to evolve, incorporating a more rigorous, evidence-based attestation model and expanding its focus to areas such as International Revenue Share Fraud (IRSF), messaging practices and Know Your Customer/Know Your Traffic (KYC/KYT) guidelines.

Six Years of Consistent Commitment

Achieving compliance for six consecutive years demonstrates the importance BTS places on maintaining these standards over time.

The 2026 assessment resulted in a 93% adherence score, with supporting documentation demonstrating compliance with the required principles. The process also included a peer review, providing an additional level of scrutiny.

These results recognise the operational framework established by BTS to identify and address fraudulent behaviour promptly and appropriately.

For an operator with an extensive international network and relationships across the global telecom ecosystem, these practices are particularly important. They help protect the integrity of communications, support responsible commercial relationships and reinforce the confidence of partners who rely on our services.

Consistency is a fundamental part of this commitment. Maintaining compliance requires ongoing attention, regular evaluation and the ability to adapt internal practices as industry challenges evolve.

Fraud Prevention as an Ongoing Responsibility

Fraud prevention has become an increasingly important responsibility for the telecommunications industry.

From traditional forms of voice fraud to emerging threats affecting messaging and digital communications, operators must continuously review how they identify suspicious activity and respond to potential risks.

At BTS, this responsibility is reflected in the processes, controls and collaboration that support our daily operations.

The GLF assessment recognises this work and the importance of having an established operational framework capable of responding to fraudulent behaviour effectively.

It also reinforces a broader principle:

“trust in telecommunications depends on the actions operators take every day, not simply on the commitments they make.”

Continuing to Build Trust Across Global Connectivity

Receiving an ‘Excellent’ attestation for another year is an important acknowledgement of the work carried out across BTS.

We would like to thank the Global Leaders’ Forum for its continued efforts to promote integrity and accountability throughout the industry, as well as the entire team whose dedication makes these results possible.

As telecommunications services and technologies continue to develop, the responsibilities of network operators will evolve alongside them.

For us, the priority remains clear: maintaining the standards, operational discipline and commitment to fraud prevention that our partners expect, while continuing to contribute to a safer and more reliable global communications ecosystem.

Six years of compliance mark an important milestone, and the work continues.
