On Visibility, Voice, and Valor: Lessons from the Women of BTS

This International Women’s Day, we pause to listen. When you hear the voices of the women behind BTS’ journey, they are not just stories of success but chronicles of resilience, brilliance, and the quiet courage it takes to be seen and heard in an industry always in search of its balance.
María Carmen Pérez Agudo, Chief Managed Services Officer, reminds us of what is simple yet often overlooked: “Give them the credit they deserve.” Recognition is not a gift but a right earned through bold ideas and tireless effort. And yet, it still requires an active choice to see and to say, “She did this.”
Sara Ballarín, a Customer Service Manager, walks that path daily. Her voice is a call to action: “Inclusion and diversity are not destinations. They are how we grow.” In her view, it’s about fairness and innovation. And she’s right.
Beatriz Marina in Deal Management echoes the same spirit: “Diversity builds strength.”
Céline Grégoire, Chief Marketing Officer, believes in the power of amplification: “Celebrate each other’s successes.” She sees the future through a wide lens, one that makes room for more stories, more women, and more ways to lead.
Beatriz Romeo Andreu, Routing Manager, speaks of visibility. Not as vanity, but as necessity. “Female talent must be seen to be valued,” she says. Because when you are unseen, your impact is anonymous. When you’re acknowledged, you inspire.
Sylvia Rubio, Software Engineer, underlines that importance of asserting our worth—not just doing the work, but declaring its value.
From Institutional Relations, Nuria Ferrer brings an even more profound and basic truth: “Our voices matter not because we’re women, but because of the value we bring.” It’s not about checking boxes. It’s about genuinely listening to and respecting every contributor at the table.
Luisa Santamaria, in Business Development, reminds us of the power of community: “Strong women inspire and elevate one another.” And Elisabeth Salemi, Regional Director North America, celebrates the multicultural richness that enables women at BTS to lead confidently and clearly.
From Human Resources, Sara Cristobal calls on us all: “Be agents of change.” In gestures large and small, we bring equity a step closer in every hiring decision or everyday conversation we make.
Marketing expert Paula Ruiz Maza says simply: “Visibility rewires what we recognize as leadership.” And Marta Aznar Yubero leaves us with this vision: “This industry is brimming with opportunities—and we, as women, are more than ready.”
These voices—strong, wise, determined—form a chorus. And when we truly listen, we do more than just hear. We learn. We grow. We change.
