BTS Celebrates a Double Win at the 2026 Global Connectivity Awards
Two awards, one direction: building the next chapter of telecommunications.
BTS returned from London with two new recognitions at the 2026 Global Connectivity Awards, winning Best Voice or SMS Service Innovation and Innovation Disruptor of the Year during the ceremony held alongside Capacity Europe.
For us, these awards are particularly meaningful. They recognize the work we have been doing to evolve alongside an industry that looks very different from the one we entered more than 30 years ago, while continuing to challenge what telecommunications networks can offer.
Innovation Is Part of Our Evolution
Telecommunications has always been an industry in motion. New technologies, changing customer expectations and increasingly complex digital ecosystems continue to redefine how people and businesses communicate.
At BTS, our experience in international voice has given us a strong foundation, but it has never defined the limits of what we can do.
Today, we are exploring new possibilities at the intersection of connectivity, artificial intelligence, security and programmable communications, bringing together decades of network expertise with the flexibility that modern digital services demand.
Our two awards reflect different sides of that ambition.
Best Voice or SMS Service Innovation recognizes our efforts to address one of the industry’s emerging challenges: maintaining trust in communications as AI-generated voices become increasingly sophisticated.
Innovation Disruptor of the Year speaks to a broader vision: expanding the role of telecommunications networks beyond connectivity, turning them into platforms capable of supporting intelligent services, automation and new opportunities for businesses.
Together, they represent something important to us: innovation that responds to real challenges while opening the door to what comes next.
Looking Ahead, Together
These achievements are also a reminder that progress doesn’t happen overnight. Behind every new capability are years of experience, research, collaboration and people willing to question how things have always been done.
Celebrating in London alongside colleagues and friends from SBTS, Telefónica, Vodafone, Telin and across the global telecom community made the evening even more memorable.
Adding to the celebration, we were also recognised in the Global Connectivity Awards Hall of Fame, highlighting the consistency of our achievements over the years. For us, it’s a particularly meaningful acknowledgement of the dedication and long-term commitment that have brought us this far.
